Pricing

Arcade Experts has devised a new pricing policy, to allow you to estimate the potential cost of repair. Your price will be simply:

Time + Parts + Postage

Time

• Up to one hour, we charge £25.
• Over one hour, the charge will be £45.
• Even if it takes us five hours, the charge will remain limited to £45.

Parts

• Parts are competetively priced.
• For each repair, we agree a maximum parts cost. If this is likely to be exceeded, we will contact you before proceeding. If you do not tell us your limit, we will set it at £10.

Postage

• Delivery to you is charged at cost. Normally, we will use insured postage, through the Royal Mail.
• We are happy to use a higher-quality mail or courier service, at your request.
• All items will require a signature on delivery.

Limitations

As you would expect, there are some boards which cannot be economically repaired. We therefore reserve the right to refuse to accept boards:

• Which have been "hacked" by a previous attempt at repair.
• Which have been damaged by corrosion.
• Which need replacement of an unavailable part, although we will do our best to source these.
• Where a very specialist knowledge is required for the repair, which is unavailable to us (this is rare).

In any of these cases, we will return the board to you, at no cost to yourself; thus your only cost will be in delivering the board to us in the first place.

Recommendations

We advise that you should consider insuring boards sent us for repair, if you consider them valuable.

If you wish to send us more than five separate boardsets, please contact us in advance, to ensure that we have sufficient capacity available.
